Noah Solomon

Chief Investment Officer As CIO of Outcome, Noah has 20 years of experience in institutional investing.

From 2008 to 2016, Noah was CEO and CIO of GenFund Management Inc. (formerly Genuity Fund Management), where he designed and managed data-driven, statistically-based equity funds.

Between 2002 and 2008, Noah was a proprietary trader in the equities division of Goldman Sachs, where he deployed the firm’s capital in several quantitatively-driven investment strategies.

Prior to joining Goldman, Noah worked at Citibank and Lehman Brothers.

Noah holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated as a Palmer Scholar (top 5% of graduating class). He also holds a BA from McGill University (magna cum laude).

Noah is frequently featured in the media including his regular column in the Financial Post.

Jason Marks

Managing Partner Jason provides oversight and risk management for Outcome Metric Asset Management’s fund offerings.
Jason was the CEO and CIO of Fiera Quantum until May 2014. Prior to Metric, Jason was the CEO, CIO and Managing Partner of GMP Investment Management L.P. (“GMPIM”) starting in December 2007. Prior to GMPIM, Jason was a Vice Chair at TD Securities and a Senior Vice President at TD Bank.
Over his 11 years at TD Securities, Jason was responsible for various businesses including: international proprietary trading, equity derivatives, interest rate derivatives, energy trading and structured products. In addition to his various sales and trading responsibilities, he was a Senior Vice President of TD Bank. In that capacity, Jason held two senior risk management roles. First, in 1998, he served as the Head of Market Risk Management for TD Bank then, in 2003, as the Chief Credit Policy Officer responsible for overseeing Credit Risk at TD Bank.
Prior to being employed at TD Bank, he was a Vice President at Citibank Canada. In that capacity, Jason was responsible for a number of derivative and structured product businesses. He has a M.B.A. from Harvard University (1989) and a B.E.Sc. from the University of Western Ontario (1986).
David Kassie

David Kassie

Chairman David has extensive experience as an advisor, underwriter and principal.

David Kassie has been Chairman or Executive Chairman of Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. since May 2010 and was Chairman and CEO from April to October 2015. David was Principal, Chairman and CEO of Genuity Capital Markets (November 2004 to May 2010) at which time Genuity was acquired by Canaccord Financial. He is the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CIBC World Markets and the Vice Chairman of CIBC (1979 – 2004).

Mr. Kassie has extensive experience as an advisor, underwriter and principal.  He sits on a number of corporate boards, including Chairman of CryptoMill Cybersecurity Solutions. Mr. Kassie is actively involved in community and charitable organizations and is a Director and former Chairman of Baycrest Health Sciences, Chairman of Baycrest’s commercialization activities and was formerly on the Boards of the Toronto International Film Festival Group, the Hospital for Sick Children and Ivey School of Business.

Mr. Kassie holds a B.Comm. (Honours) in Economics from McGill University, 1977 and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario, 1979.

Elizabeth (Beth) Philp

VP, Client Engagement Beth joins Outcome with over seven years experience in the wealth management industry.

As VP, Client Engagement, Beth is responsible for relationship management, marketing, communications and event planning for Outcome.

From 2012 to 2019, Beth was Lead, Marketing Communications at PriceMetrix, a leading financial software firm that is now part of McKinsey & Company.

Prior to joining PriceMetrix, she worked at Zerofootprint, a cleantech software and services company.

Born and raised in Edmonton, Beth holds a B.A. in Communications from Carleton University.

Samuel Cheung

Samuel Cheung

Operations Manager Samuel brings over 15 years of experience in asset management to his role as Operations Manager.

After graduating from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2005, Samuel worked at RBC for over 11 years. He started his career as a fund accountant at RBC Investor and Treasury Services, eventually becoming Manager, NAV Production.

Samuel joined Outcome Metric Asset Management LP in July of 2016 as Operations Manager.

Steven Vien

Operations Associate As Operations Associate, Steven has over a decade of experience in wealth management.

Steven joined Outcome Metric Asset Management LP in December 2018 as an Operations Associate.

Before that, Steven worked at Citco (Canada) in Investor Relations for four years and then spent four years at CIBC Mellon in Fund Accounting.

Steven graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2009.
